Voters in Madison Received Duplicate Ballots

The Federalist reports that more than twenty-two hundred voters in Madison recently received duplicate absentee ballots. When Congressman Tom Tiffany demanded answers for the situation, the city clerk said it was just “human error” and that they were working to rectify the data processing error last week. A source told The Federalist that there are safeguards in place to prevent double-voting, but serious concerns about election integrity remain.

In twenty-twenty, Biden beat Trump in our state by fewer than twenty-one thousand votes. So an error of the magnitude that has happened in Madison in a swing state like Wisconsin is very concerning. We appreciate elected officials who are calling for transparency from the Madison city clerk; such exposure and pressure helps mitigate election fraud.
