In Wisconsin, it seems another important election is always just around the corner, and this year is no different. Once again, our state is in the national spotlight as we prepare for a critical state Supreme Court election, with the ideological balance of the court at stake. Election Day is Tuesday, April 1st. The election will select a replacement for retiring liberal justice Ann Walsh Bradley. The race will be between Dane County Circuit Court Judge Susan Crawford and Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge and former State Attorney General Brad Schimel.

This election will be the last opportunity conservatives have to flip the Supreme Court back to conservative control until at least 2028. In the coming months and years, the high court will decide cases on abortion, school choice, Act Ten, religious freedom, and more. Visit myvote.wi.gov to register and for general election information.
