Why do we have coal deposits around the world? Well, coal is the result of thick piles of vegetation being exposed to intense heat and pressure. You’ve probably heard it forms over millions of years. But when scientists copy these natural processes in a lab, it only takes a few months!
The Bible’s history provides an answer to where all this coal came from. The global flood described in Genesis would’ve buried trillions of tons of vegetation beneath miles of sediment. Heat and pressure then converted the vegetation into coal over a matter of months.
