On this Memorial Day, may we remember those who have sacrificed their lives to preserve our rights and freedoms. Our country was built on a foundation laid by brave men and women who gave everything to make the American dream of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness a reality. Memorial Day reminds us as Americans to acknowledge and appreciate this self-less sacrifice, giving honor to whom honor is due.
In John 15:13 Jesus declares, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” Of course, Jesus is the epitome of that verse. And today we remember those fallen service members, who through love for family, friends, and country, have truly given everything. We encourage you to take time today to honor these heroes.
