Consumer Research has released a report listing five prominent hospitals, including Johns Hopkins All Children’s and Vanderbilt University Medical, that have refused to comply with President Trump’s executive orders on DEI and transgender policies for minors. All five hospitals continue to promote or administer gender-related hormone therapy, and DEI remains at the forefront of staffing decisions and in staff training. All five hospitals continue to receive millions in federal funding, in spite of these ongoing violations.
Any hospital or doctor not complying with these federal policies should be held accountable, especially regarding the protection of children. The oath to “do no harm” extends beyond ideology or personal agendas. If hospitals choose to promote harmful transgender care for minors, or continue DEI hiring policies, the federal government should withhold funding.
