The Washington Stand reports that a coalition of sixteen liberal attorneys general, including Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul, are suing the Trump Administration for withholding the Personal Responsibility Education Program, or PREP, grant from states that include gender ideology in their sex education classes. The Administration of Children and Families, which controls the PREP grant, issued warnings to non-compliant states before rescinding the funds, but its warnings were ignored. The coalition claims the Administration’s actions are illegal.
Most parents in our state and across the nation agree that harmful gender ideology has no place in the classroom. Our public schools must not be a venue for indoctrination. AG Kaul’s participation in this lawsuit is nothing but political pandering to certain minority groups, at the expense of the wellbeing of the young people in the schools.
