It’s no secret that book publishers are just one of the captured institutions belonging to the liberal media, but lately a few companies have ramped up disturbing LGBT content, and we should be very concerned. If you’re listening with young kids, now may be the time to put in a headphone for the next couple of minutes. Several novels have come to the market that portray violent, trans-centered fantasies, all marketed to young readers. Books like Manhunt, Cuckoo, and Hell Followed With Us are being promoted not just as edgy or adult fiction, but as stories marketed to teens. These works feature graphic violence, sexual content, and narratives that cast males and females in stark conflict with trans characters.

For example, Manhunt depicts trans women hunting biological males for their testicles to extract estrogen. The book Cuckoo is praised for its “queer-informed horror,” complete with explicit sex. Hell Followed With Us frames evil Christians or other people who “use God” as enemies. Despite their content, major publishers and reviewers have given these books glowing praise, recommending them even to younger audiences. This trend isn’t about freedom of expression. This is a purposeful cultural shift in which violence and sexual content are not only normalized, but celebrated—often under the banner of trans identity or queer ideology. Meanwhile, the media praises these disturbing works as “fun,” “influential,” or even essential reading. Institutions that once set higher boundaries for what is appropriate for young readers now seem bent on exposing kids to these violent and perverse scenarios.

The effects are extremely troubling. When young people are consistently exposed to narratives of rage, division, and identity-based conflict, it often fuels resentment and confusion rather than clarity and moral development. Glorifying such violence and exchanging reality for woke definitions undermines shared norms and truths rooted in biology, tradition, and reason. It raises questions about the role publishing houses, libraries, and media reviewers are playing in shaping what readers, especially adolescents, believe is normal or virtuous. We should defend freedom of speech and artistic experimentation. But that defense cannot including abandoning our responsibility—especially toward children. Parents, schools, libraries, and publishers alike must push back against kids books overflowing with violent LGBT sexual fantasies. For the sake of culture, community, and truth, we must insist on higher standards of moral teaching.
