At one Japanese museum, there’s a fossil of an entire school of 250 fish. They were buried while still alive—they look like they just froze while swimming. The level of detail is amazing.

These fish come from the Green River Formation in America. Actually we have two very detailed fossils from this same place at our Ark Encounter. And as we explain there, these remarkable fossils were catastrophically buried by water-borne sediments. This happened in the immediate aftermath of Noah’s flood.
