I expect we’re going to see more of this as America comes to terms with the human carnage inflicted by abortion. Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed a bill allowing a pro-life monument to be built on the grounds of the Arkansas State Capitol. It will commemorate the lives of Arkansas’ unborn children lost to abortion. The bill establishes a trust fund so private donors can contribute toward the monument. No tax dollars will be used. It’s an important location, so legislators will be reminded of the lives they were unable to protect while standing as a reminder this history should never be repeated. I sincerely hope other states will follow Arkansas’ lead. America needs these poignant reminders of the huge price our nation has paid because of abortion.
