Yesterday we learned that we’re all sinners. But why? Well, it goes back to Genesis.
The first two people God created were originally sinless, in perfect relationship with God. But they rebelled against their Creator, bringing sin and death into creation. Their perfect relationship with God was broken.
The Bible says we sinned in Adam and that every one of us continues to sin. Think about it—have you ever told a lie, even a “small” fib? Stolen anything? Looked at someone with lust? Honored anything or anyone over God?
We’re all sinners, but the good news is Christ became sin for us and took our penalty when he died on the cross and rose again.
