One of the many brilliant aspects of the system the American founding fathers created was representative democracy. Representative democracy allows the will of the people to be represented in government without the pitfalls of direct democracy. It is a great system that protects the rights and liberties of the citizens better than any other system in history. It does all of this, unless it is undermined.

Even the President represents the people, by the way. To carry out the people’s will, though, he must represent them in reality, not just in name. Representation does not work when the President is elected by people he is not supposed to represent, and that is the reality that we are facing in the 2024 election. Do you see what I mean? Let me explain.

Even if Donald Trump pulls historic voting numbers as he did in 2020, he may still lose the election this November. A recent study from Just Facts showed that 10 to 27% of non-citizens are registered to vote in America. There are 45 million non-citizens currently residing in the United States, which means at least 4.5 million may get away with voting in our election this November. In 2020, the top 4 closest states in the election had a margin of less than 1%. It does not take that many illegal voters to hand over droves of Electoral College votes to one candidate. These millions of non-citizens could turn the tide of our election.

The late Phyllis Schlafly pointed out that non-citizens always vote overwhelmingly for the left. Recent polling data also shows that non-citizens tend to vote Democrat. Ironically, it is the Democrats who have been lecturing the rest of us about protecting our democracy. Meanwhile, they do little to protect the democratic process. This is illegal and is a far more real threat to our democracy than anything coming from the right, despite the lies the narrative machine is telling us.
