This is Ken Ham, head of the apologetics ministry of Answers in Genesis.

This week we’re looking at some of the problems with believing in aliens from a biblical worldview. Well, here’s the biggest one: it conflicts with the meaning of the gospel.

You see, the Bible makes it clear that Adam’s sin affected the whole universe. So any aliens would also suffer the consequences of sin. But because they wouldn’t be Adam’s descendants, well, they wouldn’t have salvation. You see, Jesus became the God-man; he came to save human beings. He didn’t become the God-Klingon or the God-Martian! Salvation only comes through Christ and for the race of Adam.

So, no, I don’t believe in space aliens.
