LifeSite News reported that President-Elect Donald Trump picked Attorney Harmeet Dhillon to oversee the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division. Dhillon previously represented pro-life journalist David Daleiden and well-known “detransitioner” Chloe Cole. In his announcement, President Trump praised Dhillon for taking on Big Tech for censoring free speech, representing Christians who were prevented from praying in group settings during COVID, and suing corporations who use woke policies to discriminate against their workers.
This is good news for America. We’re excited to see what Attorney Dhillon will accomplish under US Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi, who is similarly pro-freedom. We hope they work to end the politicization and weaponization of the federal government against political opponents, both of which produce gross violations of constitutional rights and freedoms.
