Last week, tens of thousands of pro-lifers gathered for the 52nd annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. Vice President J.D. Vance joined in his first public appearance since being sworn in, and President Trump spoke to the crowd via video recording. This was the first year that both the House Speaker and the Senate Majority Leader spoke at the event. Speaker Johnson shared his personal testimony of being the product of an unplanned teen pregnancy, honoring his parents for choosing life despite pressure to choose abortion.
There was much to celebrate at this year’s March for Life in D.C., including President Trump pardoning 23 pro-life advocates who were unjustly imprisoned during the previous administration, as well as two other Executive Orders to curtail the federal government’s funding of abortion. Leaders who respect and champion the sanctity of life set the tone for the rest of the nation.
