In a recent forum for the three candidates running for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, the incumbent, Jill Underly, didn’t show up, leaving challengers Jeff Wright and Brittany Kinser. The Washington Examiner reports that during the forum, Kinser and Wright talked about the role of the state’s voucher programs. Kinser said she was supportive of school vouchers. Wright said there needs to be more accountability and transparency when it comes to voucher schools in Wisconsin. In a recent interview, Underly called school vouchers a, quote, “privatization scheme.”

Tomorrow, Election Day, is the last day voters can cast a ballot in this race and in any local primaries on their ballot.
