There was only one ice age, and it came after the flood. The break-up of the fountains of the deep, as described in Genesis, would’ve caused massive volcanic activity. Underwater volcanoes would’ve warmed the oceans from pole to pole. Warmer oceans mean lots of evaporation.
And all of that volcanic activity would’ve filled the atmosphere with ash and small particles. These would reflect some of the sunlight back into space, cooling the Earth. Warm oceans and cool air result in lots of snow that doesn’t melt during the cool summers. Soon, ice sheets built up around the world. So, the Bible’s history—it explains the ice age!
