Many skeptics claim that only eight people could never have cared for all the animals aboard the ark. But since Noah only had to take two of every kind of land animal, there were probably only about seven thousand animals to care for.
Noah and his family easily could’ve cared for this number. Likely they would’ve used some of the same systems that modern farms use. Pipes or gravity-fed water troughs could supply fresh water, and automatic feeding troughs would only require occasional refilling. Sloped floors force wastes to roll into central gutters for easy disposal. Caring for the animals on the ark—it was no problem.
