This Sunday is Easter! As we reflect on the cross of Christ this week, let us never forget God’s love demonstrated to us through the sacrifice of His Son. Easter week is the perfect time to deepen our appreciation for God’s grace as we remember Christ’s redemptive work on the cross. Isaiah fifty-three five declares, “but he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
This week is a wonderful time for us as individuals to focus on Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection and to find creative ways as a family to deepen everyone’s understanding of the Passion Week, Good Friday, and Resurrection Sunday. Why not spend some time together this week reading and discussing the Gospel accounts of the recorded events that forever changed history?
