The American Bible Society recently released the first chapter of its annual State of the Bible Report. Researchers found that Bible reading is on the rise across the world after dropping slightly in 2024 with the largest increase among Millennial and Gen-Z men. Millennial men reading the Bible has risen from 32% last year to 40% and Gen-Z men reading the Bible has risen from 33 to 35% over the same period.
Strong societies ground themselves in faith. The rise of Bible engagement is an encouraging indication that younger generations, especially young men, are once again seeing the value in a relationship with God. As Christians, we pray for revival as individuals increasingly engage with God’s Word.
