Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.

In a recent study done by Barna Research, half of Generation Z Christians that they surveyed said that they believe “letting your actions speak rather than using words to explain your faith” is evangelism. Fifty percent! Now today, we’re going to tackle two important things that we need to know regarding words and actions when it comes to evangelism. First, you cannot share the Gospel with someone by some form of osmosis. Words must be shared. Second, you can’t share the Gospel by a simple act of kindness alone. While that act is wonderful, it points no one to Christ. The Bible is clear that the Gospel must be spoken with love, with grace, with winsomeness. With a little discipleship, we can become great, verbal Gospel witnesses and share life today. Join us for Go Training Day as we prepare to share our faith between Easter and Pentecost alongside Go Movement. For more, visit sharelife.today.
