US Attorney General, Pam Bondi, issued written directives last week to US Attorneys and state and federal agencies regarding the enforcement of President Trump’s transgender policy. Bondi warned the public that her office will not tolerate doctors and hospitals providing illegal so-called gender-affirming care for children and requested assistance from state attorneys in enforcing this directive. Those found guilty of violating laws regarding this issue will be prosecuted.
As Wisconsin’s Help Not Harm Act pushes forward in the state Senate to protect children from these dangerous hormone therapies and surgeries, the US Attorney General’s pledge to assist state attorneys in this fight is encouraging. This federal directive brings us one step closer to protecting children from the harms of destructive gender ideology.
