According to Barna research, only 19% of Christian teens say they’ve personally been discipled in how to share their faith. That’s right…less than one in five. And meanwhile, teens are navigating complex cultural conversations every day — conversations about identity, justice, truth — without knowing how to bring Jesus into them. And if we don’t disciple them, the world will and already is. Discipling teens to share their faith isn’t just a “nice-to-have.” It’s essential. And they can absolutely be incredible witnesses for the Kingdom of God. 1 Timothy 4:12 says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because of your youth…” Let’s equip the young people of our church, walk with them, answer their questions, and show them how to talk about their faith confidently.
