While pride flags wave and parades and demonstrations abound for Pride Month, Christians can instead celebrate June as Fidelity Month. Robert George, a law professor at Princeton University, established Fidelity Month in 2023 to put the focus of June on unity, faith, family, and community. Ideas for involvement and how to share with others is available at fidelitymonth.com. From simply holding a prayer meeting to starting a petition to make Fidelity Month official, anyone can participate.
Celebrating Fidelity Month is an excellent opportunity for Christians to take action to make positive changes in Wisconsin and America and to do so in a month that can so often be discouraging. June can once again be a beautiful month as we collectively celebrate fidelity—faithfulness—to God, family, and the founding principles of our nation.
