Last week, state lawmakers held a public hearing on legislation that would clarify that miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, Mohler pregnancies, and other forms of miscarriage are not abortions. However, abortion proponents have attempted to claim that abortion bans prevent miscarriage care. This bill would provide clarity to claims made by the abortion lobby and ensure that doctors and women know that they can receive treatment for a miscarriage.
To be clear there is no law in America that prevents a woman from receiving miscarriage care. The abortion lobby is being deceitful when they conflate miscarriages with abortion. The difference is clear, one is the intentional killing of an unborn child, the other is an unintentional tragic loss. It’s time to correct the abortion lobby’s lies with the truth.
