Last week, President Trump signed a law that prohibits the use of almost all THC products in Wisconsin. Although recreational marijuana use is already illegal in Wisconsin, a 2018 farming law created a loophole that has allowed THC products to be legally created and distributed in our state, often through foods like candy, if they are under a certain weight. The new federal law closes this loophole by lowering the acceptable weight requirement.

This new regulation is excellent news for Wisconsin. Unregulated marijuana use is dangerous and can have lasting consequences. At Wisconsin Family Council, we’re thankful this Administration has recognized these dangers, and put measures in place to protect individuals and families.
