This week we’ve been asking “is the Bible enough?”. Do we need experiences, science, or extra books of the Bible to give us what the Scriptures can’t?
No! God’s Word gives us everything we need to be fully equipped for every good work. It’s what we need for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. Yes, God has given the believer everything for life and godliness in his Word and through his Spirit.
Don’t get trapped thinking if God would just speak to you or answer all your questions then you’d have real faith or feel close to God. Go to his Word—it’s enough! And he’s faithful to use it to accomplish his plan.
